Welcome to the ACT Learning, the official study centre of the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT), the chartered body for treasury.
We provide commercially-relevant, practical treasury training and learning for ACT qualifications, both online and face-to-face, giving you in-depth preparation for your ACT assessments.
Over the last 40 years we've worked with individuals and organisations big and small from around the globe and from all sectors – corporate, banking, consultancy and public sector. More than 23,000 people from over 100 countries have chosen to learn with us. Many continue to use our learning resources daily as an up-to-date, relevant and valuable source of continuing professional development (CPD).
Your first choice is whether or not you would like accreditation at the end of your learning. Accreditation means following our professional qualifications path and sitting assessments. On passing, you gain an internationally recognised treasury award, certificate or diploma and the opportunity to become a qualified member of the ACT, the chartered body for the profession. The qualifications pathway develops a broad knowledge, starting with a solid grounding and becoming progressively more in-depth as you advance.
If your goal is to fill a skills gap, your choice is either a face-to-face training course or an online eLearning course. Both are shorter options than a qualification and can be completed in as little as a couple of hours to a couple of days. Content is generally topic specific and perfect for a quick skills-fix, whether refreshing your knowledge or gaining new practical skills that you can immediately apply back in the office.
We can help you develop team capability too with supportive learning programmes to suit every size of team and budget.
- Flexiblity and choice - study on the go, in the office or at home
- Professional expertise - our tutors and trainers are industry experts
- Personal support - our friendly programme managers are there to help
- Excellent resources - practice exams, study guides, podcasts and webinars
- Outstanding pass rates - our learning gives you the best chance of success
ACT OR CFA?
Whilst at first glance ACT qualifications may appear similar to CFA qualifications, the emphasis is very different. Both cover corporate finance, ethics, reporting and investments, for example, but with ACT qualifications you will explore the subject area from a treasurer’s point of view (useful if you need to understand how they make decisions around the products and services you sell) which is not the same as someone working in portfolio or relationship management in a bank.
