ADDITIONAL LEARNING SUPPORT

If you need support in breaking down complex concepts, boosting your confidence or would like to discuss career management, you can book a personalised 1-2-1 online coaching session with a dedicated tutor. This support option allows you to ask questions and discuss your chosen topic in a 1-2-1 setting. Coaching sessions should be booked and paid for no later than 14 days before your assessment date to allow time for the session to be organised with the tutor and the topics agreed. We want to make sure expectations are clear. 1-2-1 coaching does not cover a full unit from start to finish. Instead, the coaching sessions are designed to support you with specific topics or areas you find challenging. 

You'll receive:

• 2 hours of support via Microsoft Teams or Zoom, scheduled at a time convenient to you
• tutor-designed questions prior to the call tailored to your chosen topic area
• additional exam practice questions for you to complete with detailed feedback.

Before your session, you will be asked to:

• select the topics or questions you want help with
• share these with your tutor in advance when contacted.

This allows the tutor to prepare a focused session and provide tailored guidance on the areas where you need the most support.

Your tutor can help you with:

• clarifying tricky concepts
• working through selected examples
• understanding specific areas, you’re unsure about
• improving exam technique and confidence.

Your tutor will not:

• teach the whole unit in one session
• walk through every reading or activity
• deliver full unit level teaching
• discuss what will be covered in the assessment. 

Coaching service fee:

GBP 210 per unit *
